View Full Version : Are you getting the Android Crash Reports?

When I get the notifications from forum runner android app 1.2.7, every single time I open them the app crashes and says that it sends you a report.

This has been happening for weeks now and I was wondering if you are getting them and how I might be able to help.

which forum is this for? is it for a branded app or the full forum runner app?

I and my forum members also usually face with this issue. Normally it crash if we return from the last leaving without exiting. Sometimes it crash randomly. I reported but Rob may not see this issue.

I see the logs but often they are simply debug crash logs which provide very little information without actual reproduction steps as to how the issue is being caused.

Can you help out with reproduction steps?

Just open the app, open some pages, leave it out, do something with other apps, return our app then it's crash sometime.

It usually crash when it's in loading....

Hmm.. thats tough since its not exact steps. I use the app all the time on my Nexus One and it works fine without crashing. I'll keep digging at the issue though.

Do you think it cause by Network lag? Our Internet connection is slow and lag.

Possibly. Although my T-Mobile connection is pretty slow at times. :)

I am also having a crash problem. When I get the Notification on my Droid X, I click on it and then it says it crashed.

This is the same problem I'm getting with a Huawei Mercury M886.

I've had issues with the notifications crashing but haven't been able to reproduce it on my dev phones. If I can't reproduce it I can't fix it unfortunately :(
