Is there a version update wiki anywhere?

Trying to update via the mybb admin acp and it's telling me I need to deactivate the old version first, but I want to make sure that's the best way to do it.

The instructions to upgrade are posted on the "Download Add-On" screen of the Forum Manager.

I followed the directions carefully, and tried it three times but the version will not update from 1.1.3 to 1.1.5

I uploaded the "upload" file to my root (public.html) using filezilla, which told me the transfer was successful all thre times and then went to my acp and deactivated 1.1.3 - then reactivated expecting to see 1.1.5 but no joy.

Any ideas?

You don't want to upload the 'upload' directory - you want to upload the CONTENTS of the upload directory to your root forum directory.

Is this what you did?
