Is forum login info stored on phone?

I deleted the Forum Runner (and AVSForum) apps off my phone and reinstalled it to try and fix an issue I'm having where I never get a badge count when I get push notifications (haven't had time to see if it's fixed yet) I was expecting to have to re-enter all my login info and push info, but to my surprise the only thing I had to set up again was my favorite forums and button configuration. Since the app's data is deleted when the app is deleted, I can't see how the forum and push login info could be stored on the phone. Is it? If so why didn't I need to re-log in?

It is stored in your iPhones keychain (which is not cleared when an app is deleted). It is stored in your keychain so it is encrypted automatically.

Think of it as a "feature". :-)

Thanks for the info. I don't know a lot about app programming, but I had a feeling the answer was something like that.
